Phra
That Doi Tung
The
oldest Chedi Pagoda in the lanna region. It is a belief that the Chedi
houses the collarbone of the Lord Buddha and is therefore revered by Buddhists. |

This
zoo was first established for the breeding and conservation of animals
that were driven away by the deforestation of theDoi Tung mountain area.
Aside from the reintroduction of new species,
the zoo also keeps rare animals from the nearby forests to assure their
continued survival. |

The
Mae Fah Luang Garden
One
of the brightest and most colourful landscaped sites in Thailand. Approximately
4 hectares and located on a hillside below the Royal Villa, it is a garden
of decorative and flowering plants that bloom throughout the year.
