Imagine
an island under a blue tropical sky, a place to relax, this is Samui.
Located 450 kms south of Bangkok, in the indigo waters of the Gulf of
Thailand is this group of islands which was once a haven for backpackers

A
province further south of Koh Samui, Surat Thani is mainly a port for
travellers. It is an interesting fishing & shipping centre, quite
popular for its oyster farms which has a giant species that can be harvested.
Approximately 100 kms to the west is Khao Sak National Park, a nature
reserve where one can find caves, waterfalls and a huge reservoir dotted
with over a hundred islands. |
