Merdeka Square: a 100-metre flagpole marks this
historic square where the Malaysian flag was raised for the first time. |
|

has
many landmarks that reflect its origins as a colonial outpost: traditional
colonial-era buildings set against sparkling modern architecture, Muslim
mosques and Chinese temples.
The open fronted shops give a lot of character to the old streets. A walk
around this city can prove to be very interesting. |

Batu
Caves: Approximately 13 kms north of Kuala Lumpur, one of the main
attractions of this cave is a Hindu Shrine and a smaller cave at the foothills
which houses an interesting display of Hindu mythology. |
